for Best Service Using Aggragated Content

repubHub® Earns Prestigious Industry Recognition

SEATTLE, WA (April 8, 2016)--iCopyright is delighted to announce that our content licensing and CODIE_2016_finalist_black.jpgsyndication portal, repubHub, has been named a finalist for the 2016 SIIA CODiE Awards in the “Best Service Using Aggregated Content” category. Finalists represent the information industry’s best products, technologies, and services in the software, content and business technology.

The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier awards for the software and information industries, and have been recognizing product excellence for over 30 years. The awards offer 91 categories that are organized by industry focus of education technology and business technology.  repubHub was honored as one of 215 finalists across the 62 business technology categories.

“I am amazed by the level of innovation and creativity of the products that have been selected as this year's CODiE Award finalists. We are happy to recognize them for their great contributions and impact they are making on the software, content and business technology industries,” said Ken Wasch, President of SIIA.

repubHub is the content licensing and syndication portal where editors and publishers can search for content relevant to their editorial mission and obtain the rights to republish it to their websites for free, generating new page views, ad revenue, and readership for both the original publisher and the republisher.

repubHub includes world-class content from hundreds of sources, such as International Business Times, Newsweek, Chicago Tribune, LA Times, Euronews, Al Jazeera, China Daily, and Tribune News Service. Licensed content is delivered as a branded embed for free supported by ads, rendering it with fidelity to the original and matching the styling of the licensee's site.  Ad-free paid versions and instant online and print licenses are also available for modest fees.

Publishers participate in repubHub as both providers of their own original content and as licensees of third-party content. The iCopyright Toolbar plug-in for WordPress makes all of this possible with a simple installation. When deployed in WordPress, content matching an editor's interests is delivered directly into their WP Posts pages where it can be republished with just a few clicks.

Because publishers can track their content wherever it appears, repubHub makes syndicating content both viral and safe.  repubHub is the syndication platform built for the World Wide Web.

“There’s nothing quite as rewarding as being recognized by our industry peers for providing a superior product,” said Andrew Elston, iCopyright CEO. “We believe repubHub is a service that can make any website both more informative for readers and more profitable for publishers."

The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-reviewed awards program. The first round review of all nominees is conducted by software and business technology executives with considerable industry expertise, including members of the industry, analysts, media, bloggers, bankers and investors. The judges are responsible for selecting the CODiE Awards finalists. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners. Winners will be announced during a virtual award ceremony on May 18.
